Neshoba County Fair and Choctaw
Indian Fair
Usually occurring in late July and
early August, the Neshoba County Fair is not your typical little
county fair. In fact, it is labeled as "Mississippi's Giant
House Party." With over 600 cabins on location, the atmosphere
at the Fair is half picnic, half party. Bands, food,
carnival rides, horse racing, political speeches, and a flea market
all rolled up into a week you will never forget. Bring your
camera and a good appetite because at the Fair you are family.
Visit www.neshobacountyfair.org for
more.
The Choctaw Indian
Fair is a celebration of the Choctaw Indian culture. This
fair usually occurs in the middle of July and provides a look into
the world of the Choctaw Indian's crafts, work, and life.
Great country entertainment throughout the week is always fun and
the Choctaw World Series of Stickball is an epic battle for bragging
rights throughout the year. Make Philadelphia a stop every
year in July but call early because demand is high. Visit
